Local Market Signal is a service of Braeden Kershner Creative, LLC. This policy explains how we handle information through localmarketsignal.com, report requests, business inquiries, and our customer relationships.

Information we collect

• Information you provide: your name, email address, business name, industry, city or service area, and other details you submit in a form, email, or service-related conversation.
• Customer and billing information: the plan you select, service-related correspondence, invoice details, transaction information, and payment status. Payment details entered on a QuickBooks payment page are collected by Intuit through that page.
• Website activity: Squarespace processes technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, pages viewed, clicks, and visit times to operate the website and provide site analytics.
• Business research: our work may include publicly available business websites, listings, reviews, and other market information used to prepare business reports.

Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical records, or other sensitive personal information through our website forms.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, prepare requested reports, assess a business’s market, deliver and administer paid services, manage billing and cancellations, maintain business records, understand site use, and protect the website against misuse. We may also communicate about our services; you can opt out of promotional messages as described below.

Service providers and disclosures

• Squarespace: website hosting, forms, contacts, site analytics, and related website services. See Squarespace’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Sheets and email: storing and organizing business, prospect, and customer information and managing correspondence. Information stored in Google Sheets is processed through Google’s services. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• QuickBooks / Intuit: payment links, invoicing, payment processing, and billing records. When you follow a payment link, you are using Intuit’s service. See Intuit’s Privacy Statement.
• Google reCAPTCHA: our forms use reCAPTCHA to help detect automated abuse. It may process device and interaction information for security. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, resolve disputes, protect rights or safety, or carry out a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Providers may process information under their own policies, including information they collect when you interact directly with their services. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices.

Cookies and your choices

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Necessary cookies support site delivery, security, and remembered privacy choices. Optional Squarespace analytics cookies help us understand traffic and activity and are restricted until you accept them.

Access, corrections, deletion, and email preferences

Depending on applicable law, additional rights may include receiving a copy of your information, objecting to certain uses, or appealing a decision. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records where legally required.

To stop promotional email, use the unsubscribe option in the message or email us with your request. We may still send necessary messages about an active service, a payment, or a request you made.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including providing services, maintaining financial records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of record and our relationship with you. No website, storage system, or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Location and children

Local Market Signal serves businesses from South Carolina, United States. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. This site is intended for business owners and professionals and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

Changes and contact

We will post updates to this policy on this page and revise the effective date. If a change requires additional notice or consent under applicable law, we will provide it.
